heyhey...ystd was sec1 welcoming party 4 cca...bud shall not post about it yet as mr T wants us to post about the movie 'Gattaca'...yea...so gattaca...this movie is about the not too distant future...lol...where u can modify our DNA or genes according to how u wanna look,wad abilities u want,not having ani diseases.....where u can haf perfect babies...u are classified by ur blood....and ani part of ur body can betray u...shall i haf a summary of the movie??i guess so...well its about this guy, Vincent, who is an in-valid...which means sumting lyk havin bad blood i guess...he wants to go into space thus to persue this dream of his, he exchanged or became another person,Jerome, who is perfect accept that he is now crippled....yea so its about lidat lahs...i tink that this movie is about perfection...about ppl persuing perfection...it is also about ppl being born without defacts or diseases...it is also about the expectations that ppl make about u and for u...and how u are going to stretch ur limitations...the movie also shows discrimination between the ppl...becoz u are not perfect or haf 'bad' blood and thus calling u in-valids and casting u aside...it also makes mie tink about the Human Genome Project...wheter or not its benificial to us...well basically the Human Genome Project is beneficial to us...its helps to find a cure ppl of their diseases....to prevent future babies to be prone to having diseases...ppl hu are against the Human Genome Project would object and sae that discrimination would take place...bud discrimination is alreadi happening all around the world NOW....are we gonna stop sumtin veh benificial to us humans juz becoz of discrimination?? the HGP also make mie tink that ebri1 will be the same, their abilities, and ebri1 would be like robots, etc. except 4 their looks which are different...bud the HGP does not let u choose wad abilities u haf and wad character u haf...it onli helps u to not haf diseases which causes alot of problems...it also help us to study and understand more about the diseases....sum ppl also tink that if the HGP realli succeed...the cost of these treatment would be unaffordable...bud if the HGP is realli successful...it would become sumtin that is common around the whole world and the price would drop and become affordable...i tink if i continue to write i will write forever...hahas...yea so on the overall i tink that the HGP is beneficial to mankind....according to the scientists it can help us in mani categories like in healthcare and to catch criminals...thats all i haf about mi thoughts about Gattaca....i tink ive writen enuff hahas....sayonara~!=)
